Kevin pietersen's team landed in Mumbai after a long flight from Antigua via London. Addressing the press after arriving in Mumbai he said that India were a very strong side at home and it is going to be a extremely tough series. He also praised Dhoni's leadership skills saying that he was a very cool customer and he oozes confidence. His team would have to break that confidence.

Ahead of the practice session at the CCI he felt that the team had done well in the odi's against South Africa. The England team which got hammered last time by India in the odi's 5-1 looks a different outfit this time around.They beat South Africa 4-0 at home. They would be more confident this time around. After having squared the test series last time around in India they would want to win this time around especially with India having two senior players out of their side.

Already a injury concern for England with Ryan Sidebottom having a calf injury. But Graeme Swann adds to their spin options as well. India and England start their 7 match odi series on 14th of this month.
