Final ODI between South Africa and Bangladesh washed out
by CricketArchive Staff Reporter

Scorecard:South Africa v Bangladesh
Event:Bangladesh in South Africa 2008/09

DateLine: 12th November 2008

Poor weather at East London led to the wash out of the third odi between South Africa and Bangladesh. After inspecting the outfield the two umpires decided that the continuous overnight rain had lead to play being called off.

This means that South Africa win the series 2-0 and remain number 2 in the ICC odi rankings. With the test series starting in a weeks time South Africa would want to win it and regain the number 2 position which they have lost to India currently.

Bangladesh will find it extremely tough on those bouncy wickets. Steyn, Ntini and Morkel will be raring to go. With the South Africans beating England in England there batsmen are in red hot form.Mckenzie and Smith as openers have done really well. Kallis,Amla and AB devilliers form a great middle order.

For the South Africans it is just a dress rehearsal before the tour of Australia. They will want to get their A game going. So Bangladesh better watch out in this test series.
