DateLine: 19th January 2009
Mitchell Johnson expectedly returns to the Australian squad for the remaining three ODIs against the Proteas while opener David Warner has been retained as well.

Johnson who has suddenly catapulted to become the spearhead of the Australian attack, in wake of the recent injuries to Brett Lee and Stuart Clark, replaces Queensland all rounder Ryan Harris who has been sent back to play the Twenty20 preliminary final against Victoria at the Gabba on Wednesday.
Johnson was rested for the first two ODIs of the series after excessive workload which included playing five Test matches against New Zealand and South Africa prompted the selectors to give him a break. His return will certainly pep up the attack which looks fairly young and inexperienced.
Australia squad: Shaun Marsh, David Warner, Ricky Ponting (capt), Michael Hussey, David Hussey, Cameron White, Brad Haddin (wk), James Hopes, Mitchell Johnson, Nathan Hauritz, Nathan Bracken, Ben Hilfenhaus, Shaun Tait.LATEST SCORES
