Biography:Awarded the Military Cross (1917), the Greek Military Cross, the Order of the White Eagle (4th class), and the Chevalier Legion d'Honneur. Appointed OBE 1919. Unionist MP for Gloucester 1923-29. Later, chairman of Horlicks Ltd (malted drink manufacture).. Succeeded his nephew [sic] as 4th Horlick baronet in 1958. Awarded the Victoria Medal of the Royal Horticultural Society 1963.
