Rain interrupted play on a couple of occasions and brought about a reduction in the overs to 49 per innings. In bowling the forty-eighth over of the innings Staude commenced his twelfth over and had bowled two balls before the scorers were able to alert the umpires that he had already bowled his quota of eleven overs. The over was then completed by DJ Gray.
