In the 4th over of the Hong Kong innings, Bannister, while hitting a boundary, had crossed over and the non-striker, Slaeem Malik, started facing the next ball. The Umpire did not notice this and let play continue. After Saleem had played two balls, Manjrekar pointed out the error to the Umpire, and there was a long debate. Eventually, play continued without any further change to the situation.
