Notes
--> CFH Leslie scored 1 five in the Rugby School second innings
Our thanks to Arthur Haygarth for collecting the information and to Roger Heavens for providing this scorecard which was first published in Arthur Haygarth's Cricket Scores and Biographies Volume 16. While Leslie hit his 80, only 120 runs altogether were made. In the second innings of Marlborough, Hitchcock and Kitcat went in and 71 runs were scored before the first wicket fell. But Hitchcock, Kitcat and Booth were all out at the same total - 71 and no wicket down - 100 all out. Weather delightful. Attendance small first day and on the second hardly any were there. Very different from the Eton and Harrow match.
