The Umpires called time with the scores level but the home side captain said there were two minutes left to play. The Worcestershire players left the field to the great chagrin of the home side members who were not averse to expressing their feelings to the away team. There was a 'general row' all round.
HH Servier (East Gloucestershire) was allowed to bat for Worcestershire, who presumably turned up a man short.
