This match was regarded by Durham CCC as a 'County Colts Trial Match'. One side being made up entirely of players from the North Yorkshire & South Duham Cricket League - with either birth or residential qualification for Durham. The N.Y.S.D. League also rightly considered this a 'League match'.
Rain stopped play from 11.27am to 12.25pm and again at 2.20pm and there was no further play.
