An unbroken 3rd wickt stand of 103 between Anish patel 69no and capt Dips Patel 52no saw town ease home to a comfortable 8 wicket win away to Ivanhoe. Ivanhoe won the toss and elected to bat but were in trouble from the off loseing 5 wickets for just 38 in the 1st 12 overs. Opening bowlers Ollie Freckingham 4 for 39 and Neal Gamble 3 for 16 doing the damage. A Morris and R Durose stopped the rot but having out on 56 for the 5th wicket and the score on 94 Raoul Sharma got the break through bowling Durose for 15. Town mopped up the last 4 wickets to see the home side all out for a modest 138.
Town lost two early wickets but once the two Patel's were together it was only a matter of time, with neither batsmen giving any real chances, the winning runs coming in the 31st over to see town take maximum 24pts.
