Rain severely reduced the playing time, with just enough time for Prince Alfred College, Adelaide to win on the first innings. They batted on for 5 further runs until time was called.
The weather was so bad, umpire Whitridge didn't attend on the Saturday (the 3rd and final day) thinking there would be no play. This forced another umpire (JH Lyons) to be found.
In the Prince Alfred College, Adelaide innings, some sources show RO Homburg as being run out by the wicketkeeper Sabine rather than stumped.
Also, in the St Peter's College, Adelaide innings, scorecards show CD Halcomb as being caught by C Hill. However, the catch was taken at point which would indicate F Hill was the catcher, since C Hill was the wicketkeeper.
