The match had been scheduled to be played at the Taihape Domain but had to be transferred to Waiouru due to a Show taking place on the Taihape Domain
On arrival in Waiouru players found that the outfield had not been cut and due to a wet pitch the match did not start until 1.45pm on the first day
Further rain caused five interruptions to play and due to the long grass and sodden ground only 1 four was hit during the match
The match was called off as soon as Rangitikei were dismissed at 4.30pm on the second day
