Rain meant the players had to leave the field after only a few minutes play at the start of the match on the first day and caused the players to leave the field again during the first session but only an hour's play was lost with play continuing until 7.30pm
Canterbury B needed 192 in about even time to win the match outright and started the final over needing 8 runs to win with 3 wickets in hand
