			Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the sixteenth match in the 2007 Cricket World Cup and today's clash from Group B which is a massive game in this most intriguing of groups. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have both won their opening games and a win today, at the Queen's Park Oval in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad will make it even more so.
			What a match this could be. A win for Bangladesh, who have already upset India in their opening game, will almost certainly see them through, especially as they have only Bermuda to play, but whatever the result, the game on Friday between Sri Lanka and India could be a winner-takes-all. One of the really fancied teams could, quite easily, be following Pakistan out of the Caribbean before the tournament has even warmed up. An unthinkable thought, especially in cricket-mad India.
			Who starts as favourite for this game. Bangladesh, under Dav Whatmore's watchful eye, have quietly made serious strides towards closing the gap beteen themselves and the rest of the cricketing world so they will not be taken lightly at all by Sri Lanka, who have some quality players and the Islanders will be hoping they all fire for this game.
			The sixteenth game of the tournament, at Queens Park Oval, is the 54th match to be staged on this famous old ground. The first game held on the ground was back in March 1983 with West Indies won by 52 runs. The latest games played here was the hammering Sri Lanka handed out to Bermuda by 243 runs earlier in the tournament, Bangladesh's thrilling win over India and their bounce back to form, recording the highest ever World Cup score against the hapless Bermudans.
			This will be the 19th time that Bangladesh have played their Asian counterparts from Sri Lanka. And, despite their improvements, the record is not that thrilling for the Tigers. It's 18-1 to Sri Lanka - Bangladesh's win coming at Bogra in February 2006, coming through by 4 wickets with three overs to spare. But it has been Sri Lanka all the way since their first meeting at Kandy in April 1986.
			Brian Lara is the leading run-scorer on this ground with 1276 in 30 matches (average 55.47) while Curtly Ambrose holds the record for the most wickets taken with 24 from 21 games (average 26.87).
			The highest individual score for Bangladesh v Sri Lanka is 85* by Javed Omar at Dhaka in 1999/2000.
			The highest individual score for Sri Lanka v Bangladesh is 109 by Kumar Sangakkara at Chittagong in 2005/2006.
