Williams's innings of 154 for Berkshire was the third highest of the season. It included 20 fours, and 4 threes, and lasted 2 hours and 50 minutes. His match run aggregate of 169 was also the third highest of the season. Croome scored 52. In the Berkshire first innings, Williams and Watts added 118 runs for the sixth wicket, which was the second highest partnership for that wicket during the season.
