Rain on the first day stopped play between 12.40 and 3.05 pm, and on the second day delayed the restart after lunch until 2.45 pm. For the home side, Bennett made the highest score with 78. In the Berkshire first innings Bennett and Hutson added 62 for the seventh wicket. For the visitors, Langley scored 77 not out and Astor 61.
