Drawn rain-affected return match with Glamorgan winning on first innings. The match between the two sides at Penzance in July had been won by Glamorgan. Only around an hour of cricket was possible on the first day, with the start being delayed by rain until 12.15 pm and further rain ending play around 1.15 pm. Play was abandoned for the day at around 3.30 pm. For the home side, Gibson top-scored in the match with 42 containing 4 fours. Glamorgan in their second innings collapsed to 18 for 6 wickets before Gibson and Letcher played out time. The 16 maidens bowled by Nash were the equal second highest in an innings during the season. J H Brain was due to captain the Glamorgan side, but withdrew because of the death of his father.
