Drawn return match with Berkshire winning on first innings. The Berkshire declaration left Wiltshire a victory target of 267 runs in 90 minutes. The match between the two teams at Trowbridge in July had been won by Wiltshire. In the Berkshire first innings, Watts scored 74 and Nepean and Cave added 62 runs in 20 minutes for the ninth wicket. In the Wiltshire first innings Grant scored 50. Rain caused two short breaks in play on the first day. Watts scored 74 for Bekrshire.
