Wiltshire won this return match by 10 wickets before a delayed lunch on the second day. Wiltshire had also won the match between the two sides at Blandford earlier in the month. For the winners, Stevens's 107 contained 20 fours, an innings of 2 hours and 5 minutes. Stevens and Sandford added 104 runs for the fourth wicket. For Dorset, Sewell scored 53. In the Dorset first innings, Sewell and Leny added 66 runs for the eight wicket. Udal was unable to bowl for Dorset because of an injured hand.
