Dorset won by ten wickets 30 minutes after lunch on the second day, after Buckinghamshire followed on 205 runs in arrears. For the winners, Sewell took 11 wickets in the match for 135 runs. Sewell scored 83, Williams 61 and Hodges 52. In the Dorset first innings, Hodges and W H Harrison added 70 runs for the ninth wicket. For the losers, Shaw scored 76.
