For the winners, Silverlock took 11 wickets in the match for 56 runs. Stratton top-scored with 31 in the Monmouthshire second innings. For the losers, Greenhill top scored with 38 including 1 four. In the Monmouthshire second innings, when the score had reached 36 without loss, Gordon injured a finger when keeping wicket and was replaced behind the stumps by Greenhill.
