Surrey 2nd XI won this match by an innings and 110 runs on the second day. In their first innings Wiltshire were bowled out for 230 in 2ΒΌ hours with Davenport's 51 containing 1 five and 7 fours. For the winners Sandham from the Mitcham club secured his fourth successive century in a week and was said in the provincial press as promising much for the future and soon to be selected for the Surrey 1st XI. His 104 included 1 five and 12 fours. Myers's 85 included 1 five and 10 fours, Abel's 61 contained 13 fours and Spring's 61 contained 1 six, 1 five, and 10 fours. Abel and Myers added 110 for the second wicket.
