This match was left drawn with Glamorgan, who had been set a target of 158 by Surrey's declaration, finishing with their last pair at the wicket and 65 runs still required for victory.
Surrey 2nd XI won on the first innings.
Play was severely curtailed on the first day; lunch was taken at 1.00pm when rain stopped proceedings and, though play recommenced at 3.00pm, only a further 15 minutes were possible.
For the home side Gillespie top-scored in both innings with 57 in the first and an unbeaten 55, an innings of just 70 minutes, in the second.
Blacklidge took 7 wickets for 47 runs in Glamorgan's first innings.
For the visitors Morris scored 51, whilst Creber took 6 wickets for 100 runs in Surrey's first innings.
