Turner, Wheatcroft, Wright, Ticknor, Groom, Wild, Bailey, Waller were all bowled by Thompson in the St George's XI innings but it is not known which Thompson took the wickets.
This match was arranged while negotiations were in progress to resolve the dispute between Toronto and St George's about the inclusion of three Philadelphia players in the St George's side. After each side has completed an innings it was announced that the dispute had been resolved and the Toronto v St George's match could begin, but then there was a further dispute and that match was not played
