School Cricketers Participate in a Match as Part of Training at the National Cricket Academy

25 school cricket players from all over Pakistan had been selected by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Regional Development Managers and Regional Development Officers from the schools which participated in the PCB/Pepsi National School Cricket Championship 2006 to undergo coaching at PCB National Cricket Academy (NCA).
The coaching camp at NCA is under progress and as part of camp training, two teams of schoolboys were formed which competed in a match today at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore to prepare them for real match situations. The scorecard for the match is attached to this media release.
As part of PCB's philosophy to develop cricket at the grassroots level and bring up new cricketing talent in the country, PCB has organized this month-long coaching course for promising school cricketers.
